CAMILLA’S 1ST BIRTHDAY CAKE SMASH
Oh Camilla, you sweet little girl, you have stolen my heart! Such a gorgeous little baby girl. And so funny too!
As always, we started off with what I call ‘the perfect birthday photo’ before the storm!
Cake is perfect, baby is clean!
Mum chose this lovely theme, that is such a favourite amongst our clients. We call it ‘Ivy’s Pink & Gold Party‘.

CAKE SMASH OUTFIT AND ACCESSORIES
On the day of the photoshoot, Camilla’s mummy chose this gorgeous pink tulle dress for her to wear from Little Miss Amberley.
A very popular choice for my girl’s mums indeed. So much so, I went and got one in purple too!
We added a soft and delicate headband from Handmade Handbands by Sarah .
THE BIRTHDAY CAKE
To compliment this adorable cake smash theme, we added a white and pink ombre cake on the most beautiful golden stand. And we decorated it with pink flowers and added a rose gold cake topper.
DOCUMENTING THE DETAILS – CLOSE UP SHOTS
During our first birthday cake smash sessions we try to capture some of the tiny details as well.
Our clients love the detailed shots of the baby’s hand and feet.
BUBBLE BATH
As smashing cakes is dirty work, we finish our smash cake photoshoots with a warm bubble bath.
Babies relax and their true personality shines through as they relax in the bathtub, so we end up getting some great smiles!
